Traceability to BioGRID, manual curation and publications

BioGRID source-record counts come from data/biogrid_source_index.json. Manual non-BioGRID core records are detected when Source_ID in data/tdb_core_interaction_index.json contains the marker TDB. Publication counts merge PubMed identifiers detected in both JSON files.

10,202

BioGRID source records

Filtered BioGRID records retained for provenance.

10,202

Indexed BioGRID IDs

Exact identifiers available for source lookup.

0

Manual non-BioGRID records

Core records whose Source_ID contains the TDB marker.

706

Unique PubMed IDs

Deduplicated PMID numbers detected in source records and core Qualifications.

Interaction order

Classification is based on the curated gene columns rather than text mining of the qualification field.

Classification note

How interaction order is counted

  • Triple: records with three indexed genes.
  • Quadruple or higher: records with four or more indexed genes, supported by Gene_A through Gene_G in the core table.
  • Pair-context / lower-order: a small set of records retained because they are directly relevant to higher-order interpretation.
Automatic updates

Replace files, keep paths stable

When a new release is ready, replace the fixed-name JSON files in data/. The statistics above are then recalculated from each JSON file's _meta section when served through a local web server or GitHub Pages.

Opening the site directly with file:// shows the bundled snapshot because browsers commonly block local JSON fetching.
